James is the son of James Wilkins and his wife Betty Chart, James was baptisted on the 14th July 1799 at St John the Evangelist Wotton,
King George 4th took the thorne on the 29th January 1820, on the death of his father King George 3rd.
James Married Hannah Mose on the 6th december 1820 at St Michael, Betchworth, Surrey.
The first of their 10 children was James and he was Baptisted on the 25th March 1821 in Dorking Surrey.
He was followed by William he was baptisted on the 15th September 1822 also in Dorking.
The third child George was Baptisted on the 11th April 1824 in Dorking.
The four child and the first girl was Jane and she was baptist in St Martin Dorking Surrey on the 21St October 1827.
King William 4th took the thorne on the 26th June 1830, on the death of his fathe King George 4th.
On the 1St August 1830 the fifth child Harriett was baptisted in St Martin Dorking Surrey.
On the 29th April 1832 the family was living at Borehill Road dorking and baptisted Mary in St Martin, Dorking.
the Seventh child John was baptisted on the 11th May 1834 in Dorking.
Thomas the Eighth child was baptisted on the 21St February 1836 at St Martin Dorking.
On the 21st February 1838 they had Henry Baptisted at St Martin Dorking.
The last of the 10 children baptisted was Edward and he was baptisted on the 18th March 1838 also in St Martin Dorking.
Queen Victoria took the thorne on the 20th June 1837, on the death of her uncle King William 4th.
James became a widower on the 8th Sptember 1840 on the death of his wife Hannah.
on the 1841 census James was living on Boar Hill in Dorking and as aged 40 and working as a Ag label.
On the 1851 Census James was still living on Boar Hill Dorking and still a Ag Lab and was 51 years of age.
on the 1861 Census James was still living on Boar Hill Dorkikng and still working as a Ag Lab and his age was 59.
James Died on the 3rd January 1868 in Dorking Surrey and was buried on the 9th.
